DNV GL Business Assurance Middle East & Africa is awarded for its contribution in the development of the UAE Business Continuity Management Standard & Guidelines (AE/SCNS/NCEMA 7001:2015)
The National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) has been working for the past few years on developing a national Business Continuity Standard that reflects some of the best practices of the international ISO 22301 and some other national standards related to BCM that will meet the needs of the United Arab Emirates and possibly other GCC countries.
DNV GL was embarked on this project since 2012 at which time NCEMA launched the first version of AE/HSC/NCEMA 7000: 2012 and has contributed on a technical level by reviews and recommendations on the development of both the Standard revisions and the Guidelines ever since.
NCEMA held a ceremony on the 17th June to award all the individuals and organisations that have contributed to the standard and guidelines.
