The Ho Chi Minh Eye Hospital and the intensive care unit of the Nguyen Tri Phuong Hospital in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, have both been certified to the ISO 9001 quality management system standard by DNV.

The health sector operates in a highly regulated environment with stringent demands on quality, and the certification awards reflect the commitment of both hospitals management to achieve the highest safety and quality standards for the benefit of their patients.

Recognising the importance of health care services, several hospitals certify their management systems to the ISO 9001 quality management system standard, and so far seven hospitals have been certified by DNV in Vietnam.
