Ministry of Manpower of Oman certified for Information Security by DNV Business Assurance Middle East
A celebration was held at the Ministry of Manpower honoring the Information System Department for getting the ISO 27001 certificate for the information security. DNV issued EEDI verification for a super-large tanker owned by KOTC in Kuwait
In March 2011 DNV has verified the Energy Efficiency Design Index (EEDI) for the crude oil tanker “Dar Salwa” owned by Kuwait Oil Tanker Company S.A.K. (KOTC). The ship with 318,000 DWT is the first super-large oil tanker that has received the EEDI verification statement from DNV, declaring the ship’s CO2 emission level.
