We are able to provide assistance in developing a project from an early stage, based upon transport needs, through to a conceptual design including an outline specification. We use our continuously developing PreContractTool, a package of software tools developed in partnership with DNV Software, as well as ACCEPT, a concept development process developed by DNV Research & Innovation. These, together with expertise from other units in DNV, enable us to facilitate the ship design development through pre-defined stages involving analyses on both fleet- and ship-level.
